T-SHIRTS FOR TROOPS CAMPAIGN!
T-Shirts for Troops is a project that sends soldiers in Iraq shirts that show the support of New Jersey firefighters for their efforts in serving our country. T-shirts are sold for $15 each. For every t-shirt sold, two are sent to troops in Iraq or Afghanistan. The program was the creation of North Hudson Regional fire Captain Kevin Moore in memory of his Godson, U. S. Army Sgt. Andrew Brown, 22, who was killed in Iraq in October, 2004
The Maplewood and South Orange Locals join Trenton FMBA Locals 6 and 206 and Hamilton Township FMBA Locals 84 and 284 in supporting the 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The combat team, a New Jersey Army National Guard unit based at Fort Dix, deployed more than 3,000 members on June 14 for arrival in Iraq in September. Our goal is to ensure that each solider has an FMBA t-shirt packed in their bags.
T-shirts are grey in color and display the proud crest of the 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Shirts are available for $15 in S, M, L and XL and $17 for XXL.
